Process description:  


First of all inspiration.
Old and new ideas melt together in many sketches.
Dependent on the nature of the idea I start collecting material from the internet, library or television. Those are the
ingredients of my concept.

I translate my objects to three dimensions, 3d modelling.
Often a time consuming process were you work like a kind of virtual sculptor. Several 3d software programs I use to sculpture specific models. These 3d models need to be dressed up with texture maps, material skins so to speak.

I arrange them into a three dimensional environment and determine the composition I want. Like a photographer, really every viewpoint is available and any kind of virtual camera.
Also at that point I determine the light source(s) of the scene.

This three dimensional balanced world is prepared for the final phase, rendering. Finally I give birth to one artwork image in high resolution. The artwork is printed in limited edition on canvas and paper with the best digital printing techniques.
